Local 696 attends the North American Building Trades Union (NABTU) conference.
Your Business Manager, Kevin Bellew, Business Agents Scott LaMorticella and Phil Mancini along 3 union sisters 696 members attended The Trades Women Build Nations (TWBN) conference in September. TWBN is for members of unions affiliated with NABTU, members of unions affiliated with local building and construction trades councils, and NABTU allies and is the largest gathering of unionized tradeswomen in the world!
Journeywomen Stacy Novatkowsky and Liz Hennessey, and Apprentice Allie Malcolm proudly and confidently represented Local 696 in this extremely well attended event with 1100 UA sisters in attendance! Local 696 continues to grow and strengthen with the addition of more women working in the trade!
